The U13 and U14 Gold Girls traveled to Ohio this weekend to compete in Kings Turf Classic in Cincinnati, Ohio. Both teams performed at a extremely high level with one team capturing the Championship and one team finishing as Finalist after falling in PK's 4-5.

The U13 Gold girls went 3-0-1 on the weekend, winning their matches 1-0, 3-0, and 1-0, respectively in group play before facing Waza FC out of Michigan in the final Sunday afternoon. The girls played 60 minutes of scoreless soccer resulting in PK shootout to determine the winner of the U13 Girls Championship. Unfortunately, after a back and forth PK shootout, the Campton girls fell 4-5 in PK's, finishing as finalist on the weekend.

The U14 Gold girls followed in the footsteps of the U13’s performances by finishing the weekend 3-0-1. In group play, the U14 Gold Girls finished their matches 0-0, 1-0 and 1-0, respectively. In the final match, the U14 Gold Girls dominated from start to finish resulting in a 1-0 win over Commonwealth SC out of Kentucky. This would mark the U14 Gold girls 3rd straight tournament championship as they won Huntley Heat Summer Challenge and Great Lakes Challenge already this year.

On the weekend, the Campton teams went 6-0-2 and didn't concede a goal, outscoring their opponents 8-0.
