The weekend of March 16-18, Campton participated in the Nike Showcase event in Schaumburg.  The girls were represented by the 14 Navy and the boys sent the 13,14,15,16 and 17 Navy teams.  It was a very good weekend as the teams had some great highlights.  The girls played some very attractive soccer throughout and had great chances all weekend to earn a 2nd place finish.

    The 13 boys went 3-0, and only gave up 1 goal en route to a 2nd place finish.  Boys from the Navy, Red and White all came together to put together a very successful weekend beating teams from Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois.  The 14 boys, with players from the 14 White and 13 Navy, did not concede a goal all weekend finishing 2-0-1 and taking 2nd in the age group.  The 15s finished strong and it took a last minute free kick to tie the game by SLSG (#3 in the region), they finished 0-2-1.  The 16s put together a good weekend going 1-1-1, taking 2nd in the group and beating the group winner in the process.  The 17s finished 2-1, taking second in the group, with over 30 college coaches stopping by to scout the players.
