Why Fútbol Foundations?

Campton United - Futbol Foundations is dedicated to developing young soccer players through a comprehensive approach that emphasizes core skills and tactical understanding. Our program focuses on key aspects of the game that are essential for player growth:

• Ball Mastery: We believe that comfort on the ball is fundamental to a player’s success. Our training sessions are designed to help players feel confident and in control.

• Dribbling & Running with the Ball: Players will learn how to confidently run with the ball, improving their dribbling skills to beat defenders and maintain possession under pressure.

• Change of Direction & 1v1 Skills: Through drills and game scenarios, we teach players how to use quick changes of direction and sharp footwork to outmaneuver opponents in one-on-one situations.

• Tactical Understanding: We emphasize the importance of reading the game, helping players understand how to manipulate defenders, create space, and make smart decisions under pressure.

• Learning the Rules: A strong grasp of the rules of soccer is essential for every player. We integrate learning about positioning, fouls, and the flow of the game to foster a deeper understanding of soccer dynamics.

• Person > Player : A strong emphasis is placed on fostering personal growth, resilience, confidence, self-discipline and teamwork. Characteristic we want players to display not only on the field, but off the field.

Why Campton?

Our multifunctional indoor facility allows players to play and train year round. For 30 years, Campton's extensively trained, licensed coaches, and leading curriculum consistently produces numerous state, regional, and national championships. In 2015 & 2016 our U18 Boys NPL National Champions, in 2018 & 2019 our 2000 USYS Girls win and repeat as Champions of the USYS National League, in 2021 our 2003 USYS Red Boys were Illinois State Finalists, and most recently our 2009 USYS Red Girls won the 2022 Midwest Regional Title & participated in the final four of the 2022 Presidents Cup National Tournament!

Youngest (2020, 2019,2018) :  4:30pm-5:30pm 

Oldest (2017, 2016):  6:00pm-7:00pm

Who: 5-9 Year old boys and girls (2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 Birth Years)
