It's with great pleasure to have Jasminko Dizdarevic be our Alumni Spotlight for this week.  Jasminko is currently playing his College soccer at  Urbana University in Ohio. Please enjoy his words! 

What’s your experience like playing for Urbana University?
My experience playing for Urbana has been really good. There has been many ups and downs but overall it has been great. I have learned a lot from older players that I’m playing with at Urbana.

How do you think Campton United SC helped you to get where you are now?
Campton helped me so much to get to Urbana because they exposed me to all different coaches and I was able to attend so many college showcases and show my talents. They always pushed me to my limits which also helped with my college process.

What was your favorite moment from your time with Campton United SC?
My favorite moment with Campton had to be the year that we won the national championship my senior year of high school. We had such a good team and it was such a good way to finish off my club career before I headed off to college.

What has been your favorite moment so far at Urbana University?
My favorite moment at Urbana has to be my freshman year when we went to New York to play in the Round of 16 of the national tournament. It was the first time Urbana was flying anywhere to play and it was also my first time in New York and it was a great time spending it with the team.

What advice would you give to players who have the goal to play at the next level in College?
The advice that I would give to players that want to play in college is to be proactive in your college process, don’t leave things last minute because coach won’t wait and they will find other players. Make sure you are on top of things and make sure you are ready for all the hard work and effort it will take to play at the next level.
