Two Campton United Girls’ Teams Win State Cup Soccer Championships; Additional Team is State Finalist

On November, 12, 2017 in Rockford, Illinois, two Campton United Soccer Club Girls’ Teams won the Illinois State Cup Championships, while a third Campton United Girls team was a Finalist in a State Cup championship game. Campton United Soccer Club is based out of St. Charles, IL.

The U18 age group of 2000 Campton United Girls USYS I were crowned the 2017 IYSA State Cup Champions November 12 with a 3-0 win over 2000 FC United team based out of Northbrook.

The U17 age group 2001 Campton United Girls USYS I were crowned 2017 IYSA State Cup Champions November 12 with a 4-0 win over 2001 FC United team based out of Northbrook.

 The U16 age group 2002 Campton United Girls USYS I were one of the final two teams left standing in the 2017 IYSA State Cup Championship game but lost to 2002 Eclipse ECNL team based out of Oakbrook.

 The Illinois State Cup is the most prestigious soccer tournament in Illinois and the official state championship tournament of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.  The 2000 and 2001 Campton United Girls USYS I team’s will be representing Illinois at the 2018 US Youth Soccer Region II Championships in Westfield, IN at Grand Park Sports Complex June 22-27, 2018.

Campton United Soccer Club is the only certified US Soccer Academy Club in the Western Suburbs and is the home of the 2015 and 2016 U18 Boys National Champions.
