Campton United Soccer Club is excited to announce that we have accepted an invitation to become a member of the US Soccer Development Academy (Development Academy) for the 2016-17 year.  In our first year we will be fielding a team in the Under-12 age division for players from the 2004 Birth Year.  

The Development Academy is the top league in the United States with a primary focus on individual player development. The Development Academy philosophies center around providing more training, higher-level training, less games with more meaningful games with a proper rest ratio.  The Development Academy program provides education, resources, and support to impact everyday club environments to provide world class         players.

In order for Campton United to become a member of the US Soccer Development Academy, we had to meet seven criteria within the club.

1.    PLAYER DEVELOPMENT EFFECTIVENESS   

2.    STAFF LEADERSHIP, STRUCTURE, AND QUALIFICATIONS   

3.    STYLE OF PLAY AND PHILOSOPHY     

4.    TRAINING ENVIRONMENT AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT     

5.    FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE   

6.    RESPECT     

7.    RESOURCES

Campton United’s Technical Director, Chad Flanders, said “Everything our club has been working towards in the last four years has been to prepare and align ourselves with the values of the Development Academy.   We have worked to improve our staff, our curriculum, and our facilities, in order to impact our players everyday.  Campton United is extremely humbled and excited to be given an opportunity to become a member in this exclusive league.”
