Former Campton United player TC Hull was the star last Friday as he scored the game-winning goal in a Spring match vs USL Pro side Louisville City FC. Great job TC, best of luck to you and the SIUe soccer programs!

"EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE men's soccer scored a 1-0 win Wednesday night over USL side Louisville City FC at Korte Stadium. For SIUE, it was a pair of rising sophomores who made the difference.

The Cougars' TC Hull netted the game-winner for the Cougars in the 87th minute of the game. Andrew Kendall-Moullin assisted on the goal. Joe Smith manned the goal for SIUE and made three saves to earn the shutout.  

"We really appreciate the opportunity to face another quality professional opponent," SIUE Head Coach Mario Sanchez said.

The loss was the first of any kind for Louisville City FC, an expansion team in the USL.

"We're proud of the guys for the progress they have made since the last game," Sanchez added. "We're looking forward to the last month of the training and games as we prepare for the fall season."

SIUE outshot Louisville City FC 18-17 for the match. Louisville goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh made eight saves in the loss."
