The 14 Navy and 15 boys headed to Cincinnati, Ohio, to compete in the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy College Showcase, March 1-3.  The boys were greeted with cool temperatures and snow floating through the air.  The level of competition was high and the quality of the opponents was solid.  

    The 14s came away from the weekend undefeated, 2-0-1.  Facing Classic Eagles Black (OS) in their first match the boys came out great, but were unable to find the back of the net.  In the 2nd match, playing Westside United FC they were finally able to break through and get the result.  The third match against Ohio Elite went back and forth and was very entertaining with Campton coming out on top 3-2.

    The 15s came back from the weekend 0-3 falling to some great teams.  Game 1 they came up short against Michigan Semi-Finalist, Force FC 0-2.  Game 2 was a slugfest that went back and forth and could have easily gone either way.  They fell 0-2 to Kentucky Semi-Finalist and currently ranked #1 in the state, Kings Hammer Academy.  The 3rd game came with more heartbreak.  They had a game tying goal called back and fell to Indiana semi-finalist, Westside United 1-2.  The scores and results did not represent the great play the boys showed all weekend.

    A very good weekend to lead off the outdoor season for both teams.
