U13 Navy Girls featured on ESPN Wide World of Sports.....
U13 Navy Girls competed at Disney Jr. Showcase over Thanksgiving
The U13 Navy girls traveled to Orlando, Florida over Thanksgiving to compete in the Disney Jr. Showcase. The girls were placed in the top bracket facing top teams from Florida and Georgia. The girls performed very well, finishing 1-0-2 in the tournament and just falling short of advancing.
It was a unique experience as the girls 2nd match was selected to be filmed by ESPN and Wide World of Sports to be used as part of a promotional video. The video is up on our CamptonUnited SC youtube page, along with facebook page. The video will also be featured throughout the Wide World of Sports Complex.
