The Campton United U13 Gold girls placed 2nd in the Nike fall classic in Schaumburg over Columbus Day weekend. The girls played with great poise and skill throughout the tournament. The girls maintained more possession and created more chances than each of their opponents during round robin play. Possession and physical play was the focus in the final as both teams defended well and had few chances. In the end, Rockford finished one of their 2 chances on goal to seal the win.  The loss should not overshadow the consistent play throughout the weekend in chilly conditions. Coach tim is extremely proud of the positive attitude, team chemistry, and player development of the players and positive support from parents to make this a successful weekend for Campton. Great job girls!
