We are proud to be associated with Sportsplex of St. Charles, home for our winter indoor programs. Campton United's outdoor training and playing fields at West Side Community Park are also second to none. We are constantly receiving compliments from our families and from visiting clubs on how spectacular our facilities and fields are. The administrative building at Campton Hills Park is home of Campton United's full-time staff. We thank the St. Charles Park District for their continued efforts to keep this one of the best soccer complexes in the Midwest.

This Memorial Day Weekend, Campton United will host the Midwest Cup Soccer Tournament. Over 200 premier teams make this one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Midwest.  Campton has over eight years experience co-sponsoring and hosting premier level tournaments. This year's tournament will operate under the guideance of Ron Carr, Tournament Director, his tournament committee chairpersons, and the many Campton United parent volunteers. The Campton United Soccer Academy is a half year program for children between the ages of 5-7. It starts in the winter and runs through the end of spring. This program is designed around being the child's first introduction into competitive and travel soccer, where as most children start out in some form of recreational soccer. It also provides a stepping point into the Campton United Soccer Club and it's development program.

A variety of beginning core soccer fundamentals are taught by the clubs professional coaching staff. These core areas include but not limited to One Player-One Ball Training sessions with variety and repetition built into the program. In addition, players are exposed to other children of like ability and desire for the game of soccer which aids raising their skill level.

Players are selected to this program based on some form of the following criteria:

  • Speed & Quickness

  • Athletic Ability

  • Aggressiveness around the ball

  • Comfort with the ball

The selected Academy players will then be placed on teams in a league according to skill level. Teams will play one game per week starting in January. With the training and winter league play completed, the Academy program will then put together teams for upcoming spring outdoor season in the Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL), and will play in a U8 division.
